We trim and remove trees in Wellington, from neighborhood lots to large properties with many trees. Estimates are free.
Wellington is inland, in the west part of Palm Beach County. The Village has an Equestrian Preserve of about 9,000 acres.
Large lots have many trees, and some are very tall. Our bucket truck reaches heights that are not safe to climb.
These rules come from the Village of Wellington. We give the source for each rule.
The Village says that a permit is required to remove a tree or a palm. The form is named the Tree and Vegetation Application.
The Planning, Zoning and Building department has the form.
The Village says that you may trim up to 25 percent of a tree or a palm.
Over-trimming is not permitted. The Village can order you to remove and replace the tree, and it can fine you.
The Village tells homeowners to never top a tree. Tree topping is also named hat racking.
The Village collects yard waste from routine yard work only. It does not collect tree removals, limbs of more than 10 inches across, trunks, stumps, or root balls.
The Village says that a tree contractor must remove all of the debris from the job. We haul it away.
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County says to do all major cutting and tree removal from December 1 through April 30.
After a storm watch or a storm warning is issued, do not trim. The crews cannot collect the extra branches before the storm arrives.
We read these rules in September 2026. Rules change. Confirm with the Village of Wellington before work starts.
We handle every part of the job, from the first cut to the cleanup.
We trim, thin, and shape trees. Regular trimming keeps a tree healthy and keeps branches away from your roof.
We remove dead trees, damaged trees, and trees you do not want. This includes exotic and invasive trees.
We take out the stump after the tree is down. We grind it below ground level so you can plant grass or a new tree there.
Dead branches fall without warning. We remove the branches that hang over roofs, driveways, and walkways.
A thick canopy catches more wind in a storm. We thin the canopy so wind passes through the tree.
We use a bucket truck for tall palms and oaks. The truck reaches heights that are not safe to climb.
After a storm we clear fallen trees and broken branches. We also remove limbs that are hanging over your roof.
We care for the trees on your property on a regular schedule. This keeps the trees healthy year after year.
Heavy branches and thick canopies catch the most wind in a storm. Trimming before a storm lowers the risk to your roof, your car, and your fence. We also clear fallen trees and branches after a storm.
