The Town says that Jupiter has been a Tree City USA for more than 20 years.
These rules come from the Town of Jupiter. The answer depends on your neighborhood.
If your neighborhood has a development approval and an HOA, a tree on your own lot needs HOA approval only. The Town says that it does not need Town approval.
A street tree, or a tree on a common area, needs Town approval.
In an older neighborhood with no HOA, the Town says that a tree on a developed lot does not need Town approval.
The Town says that you do not need a permit to remove a dead tree on your own property.
The Town does not permit the removal of mangroves. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection oversees mangrove protection.
The Town says that yard waste is picked up two times each week, up to 8 cubic yards. Branches must be bundled and tied. A bundle must be 6 feet or shorter and must weigh 50 pounds or less.
On our jobs we haul away the branches and the debris.

We handle every part of the job, from the first cut to the cleanup.
We trim, thin, and shape trees. Regular trimming keeps a tree healthy and keeps branches away from your roof.
We remove dead trees, damaged trees, and trees you do not want. This includes exotic and invasive trees.
We take out the stump after the tree is down. We grind it below ground level so you can plant grass or a new tree there.
Dead branches fall without warning. We remove the branches that hang over roofs, driveways, and walkways.
A thick canopy catches more wind in a storm. We thin the canopy so wind passes through the tree.
We use a bucket truck for tall palms and oaks. The truck reaches heights that are not safe to climb.
After a storm we clear fallen trees and broken branches. We also remove limbs that are hanging over your roof.
We care for the trees on your property on a regular schedule. This keeps the trees healthy year after year.
Heavy branches and thick canopies catch the most wind in a storm. Trimming before a storm lowers the risk to your roof, your car, and your fence. We also clear fallen trees and branches after a storm.
