Home / Delray Beach
DAS Tree Service works in Delray Beach on the mainland and on the beach side. We trim trees, remove trees, and clear dead limbs. Estimates are free.
Delray Beach has homes on both sides of the Intracoastal Waterway. Trees on the beach side get more salt and more wind.
The city asks for more paperwork in some areas before a tree comes down. Read the rule below, then call us for a free estimate. On our jobs we haul away the branches and the debris.
These rules come from the City of Delray Beach. We give the source for each rule.
The city says that a tree or a palm needs a Tree, Scrub, and Vegetation Removal application if the trunk is 4 inches or more across. The city measures the trunk at 4 and a half feet above the ground.
For a single-family home or a duplex, the application must name the licensed tree trimmer or the certified arborist who removes the tree. The city can also require a new tree to replace it.
A home in a historic district or in a beach property owners district also needs a professional tree survey.
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County says to do all major cutting and tree removal from December 1 through April 30.
After a storm watch or a storm warning is issued, do not trim. The crews cannot collect the extra branches before the storm arrives.
We read these rules in September 2026. Rules change. Confirm with the City of Delray Beach before work starts.
We handle every part of the job, from the first cut to the cleanup.
We trim, thin, and shape trees. Regular trimming keeps a tree healthy and keeps branches away from your roof.
We remove dead trees, damaged trees, and trees you do not want. This includes exotic and invasive trees.
We take out the stump after the tree is down. We grind it below ground level so you can plant grass or a new tree there.
Dead branches fall without warning. We remove the branches that hang over roofs, driveways, and walkways.
A thick canopy catches more wind in a storm. We thin the canopy so wind passes through the tree.
We use a bucket truck for tall palms and oaks. The truck reaches heights that are not safe to climb.
After a storm we clear fallen trees and broken branches. We also remove limbs that are hanging over your roof.
We care for the trees on your property on a regular schedule. This keeps the trees healthy year after year.
Heavy branches and thick canopies catch the most wind in a storm. Trimming before a storm lowers the risk to your roof, your car, and your fence. We also clear fallen trees and branches after a storm.
